Spring

This was done in watercolor. The photograph washed the colors out a little, but other than that it's pretty much like the original.
I'm not all the way satisfied with the background, I wanted it to be a little more...lively, and it's not.

But, I think the the bird turned out okay! I think it's an oriole, but I'm not sure.

Anyway, I thought of all those that are persecuted while painting this. Spring reminds me of hope, and hope reminds me of the persecuted. I pray that they may have hope in Him, it's what keeps us going!
